6) How many days before the treatment do I need to arrive?
It depends on the ailment and the suggestion from the Doctor, after your medical history is studied by the doctor they will advice based on that.
7) Can I travel immediately after the surgery is over?
Your doctor in India will evaluate your recovery and decide as to when it may be possible for you to travel. The average time required for recovery is usually two to three weeks and it depends on the type of treatment.

1) How are the cost savings comparable to the expenses in my country?
The cost of surgery in India can be one-tenth of what it is in the United States or Western Europe and sometimes even less .A open heart surgery in US may cost $200,000 but the same in India will cost only $20,000 which is just 10 to 15%, similarly we find difference in Cancer treatment, Physical Therapy, Dental etc. Cosmetic surgery savings are even greater; a full facelift that would cost $20,000 in the US are about $1,250 in India.
It depends on the accommodations you prefer. In case you chose to stay in serviced apartment in India which is of good standards it will be reasonable, else if you chose to stay in star hotels it will be little expensive, even-though your expenses is relatively less in India however quality of treatment in India cannot be matched with other countries.

Medicine / Drugs Cost:
The World class Medicine/Drugs are less expensive than the cost of the same medicines in the U.S. or Europe without compromising on the quality of the medicine. This in turn has a huge saving on the cost of drugs.
Wide range of cars is available for rental with a chauffeur & self driving. We prefer you have a chauffeur so that you can relax and as the driver’s are multi lingual it will help in many ways.

Food in India is relatively cheap than other countries, If you have opted for a service apartment than you can cook your own meal as the pricing for groceries is cheaper.

2) Do these cost savings mean lower medical standards in India?

3) How are payments made?
You will be required to make payment as per the respective hospital’s policy. This normally involves paying a deposit before undergoing any diagnostics test or procedures. A final Bill will be presented to you prior to discharge from the hospital. You will have to pay directly to hospital. A nominal amount is also taken in advance to reserve accommodation, transportation etc.
4) After arriving in India, can I change my mind about the treatment or doctor treating me?
If you decide to not go further with your treatment after meeting your doctor and visiting the hospital, you will be refunded 100% of your initial payment. However, we do not guarantee refunding deposits for processing fee, hospital fees, hotel accommodation and transportation.

1) Will you provide assistance if special visa is required?
We will be happy to help you with applying of medical visa, which is required for patients opting for medical treatment in India. This visa can be extended from a period of 1 year in case of prolonged illness. However, you can obtain tourist visa for short term medical treatments. We will provide complete assistance in the filing of the required paper work.
2) Can a family member or friend accompany me to India?
Absolutely, it will be reassuring to have a well-wisher along during your medical tour. Medical Attendant Visa can be procured and is also valid for 1 year.
3) Who can apply for an Indian e-visa online?
Citizens of 113 countries, including Unites states, are eligible to apply for the India e tourist visa (eTV) visa for India. The e-visa is for international travelers whose purpose of visiting India is tourism, recreation, sight-seeing, a casual visit to meet friends or relatives, etc. Applicants of Pakistani origin should apply for a traditional visa, not the online visa.
